BEST OF BEACH

Updated: Oct 5

More times than not, Summertime brings us to the beach. We love every minute of the ocean air, the sound of the waves and our toes in the sand. Beach life is made a little bit easier (and comfortable) with a few of our favorite things. We’ve gathered our tried and true items when we’re “beaching it” and put them in one spot. A good chair, a great Bluetooth speaker, the perfect cooler…just to name a few. These items have been honed over several years of beachgoing. We hope you enjoy!

Sun Bum Face Stick - Great for dealing with squirming kids.

Supergoop PLAY Everyday Lotion SPF 50 - Our favorite sunscreen for body, hands down.

Tula Protect + Glow Daily Sunscreen SPF 30 - We love this for the face. It has probiotics, superfoods and just the right amount of shimmer.

Supergoop 100 % Mineral POOF Powder - Save your kiddo’s little scalp when they refuse to wear that hat!

Target Wide Brim Straw Hat - A JTI Cult Classic. We love this hat for errands or a beach/pool day with low wind.

Mark & Graham x Steele Waterproof Tote - Made of water resistant and tear proof vinyl, this bag is as practical as it is cute and customizable. Comes in two sizes and many color combos.

ALOHA Small Palms Pouch - A perfect wet/dry bag from cool brand, ALOHA.

Roxy Straw Hat with Chin Strap - We’re over the dork factor of this chin strap. You know how it’s super windy at the beach usually? Mmmhmmm.

J.Crew Gingham Ruched Bandeau Suit - Gretchen’s favorite one piece. They have long torso sizing!

Summersalt Tie Belted Cover Suit - Laura’s current favorite suit. The Summersalt brand is good, you guys.

CUPSHE One-Piece Swimsuit One Shoulder Cut-Out - Allison’s current go-to suit.

Ruched Plunge Bralette Bikini by Lively - Gretchen loves herself a bikini and this one in electric pink is her latest pick. Click here for the bottoms.

Vineyard Vines Harbor Shirt Cover-Up - Gretchen’s current go-to cover-up.

BloqUV Long Sleeved 24/7 top - A JTI Cult Classic. We don’t leave home without this top in the summer, period. Use code JTI25OFF for a 25% discount!

Faherty Daybreak Hoodie - We love nothing more than a fabulous hoodie at the beach. This is the one.

J.Crew Side-Ruffle Tunic - Allison is loving this recent coverup purchase for the beach and pool.

YETI Hopper Flip Soft 12 Cooler - A manageable size, easy to transport with the shoulder strap and a wide opening so the zipper doesn’t cut your hand open!

Heavy Duty Collapsible Folding All Terrain Beach Wagon - Need we say more?

Sport-Brella Pure Lite 7 Ft. SPF 50 Umbrella - We like this for it’s portability, handy carry bag for stowing and ease of setting up.

Collapsable Beach Chair with Back Pack Straps - These have handy carrying straps to free up your hands for beach toys, toddlers, and whatever else you may be carrying.

The SUP Co. Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Boards - Gretchen’s family invested in these, and they bring them to the beach every year!

JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth Speaker - Stellar sound and 12 hours of battery life. Allison owns this speaker and loves.

YETI 30 oz. Tumbler - Keep whatever you’re drinking cold and easily takable!

Wonderfouta Turkish Towels - Eco-friendly, super absorbent & lightweight, these are Allison’s favorite towels for the beach. And she’s tried them all! We like the 40 x 80 inch.

Vineyard Vines Boys Long-Sleeved Rash Guard - A cute rash guard for the boys!

Surfer Dude Toy - This toy can provide hours of entertainment. Throw him into a wave and watch him (or her) go.

Skim Board - A must have for your sporty kiddo. Throw it in shallow water, run and jump onto the board and skim away!

Smash Ball - A beach trip isn’t compete without this. We love this pretty set.

Nerf Football - A must for the beach.

The Best Ice Cream Sand Toys - Ok, these kept our littles (7 & under) busy for daaaays last year at the beach.

Kids Version of our Favorite Beach Hat! - So cute!

Giant Sling Shot - This is loads of fun. Get a bag of tennis balls, some baseball mits, 3 adults (yes, you need 3 as pitured) and make those kids catch some balls while you launch’em. Also, don’t forget about water balloons.
