All three of us enjoy a Cosmopolitan whenever the occasion calls for it - and the Holidays are especially a festive time to make a cosmo. This batch recipe is special because not only can you make it ahead for a crowd, we have dialed back the ingredients a touch to make it not so sweet, as they can tend to do in a bar. If the color is a pale pink - you know you're on the right track. Enjoy, friends!
Serves 6.
Ingredients
• 2 cups (16 oz. good vodka) We love Grey Goose.
• 3/4 cup Cointreau
• 1/2 cup cranberry juice
• 3/4 cup fresh lime juice (approx. 4-5 limes) plus an extra lime for garnish
*As with all cocktails, measure with your heart a little here. If you do like it a little sweeter, add more cranberry and cointreau. If you're wanting more tart, play with the lime juice. And we always squeeze a fresh lime wedge into the drink after.
Instructions
Combine all ingredients, stir or shake and store in the fridge for party time!
